NYF Hosts “Read with Ranil” to Inspire Young Sri Lankans

The National Youth Front of Sri Lanka today held “Read with Ranil”, an interactive youth forum at Cinnamon Grand Colombo, drawing participants under the age of 40 for a wide‑ranging discussion on books, leadership, personal growth, and current national issues.

The organisers said the programme was designed to create a space where young Sri Lankans could openly exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and engage with themes shaping the country’s social and political landscape. The event featured conversations on reading habits, leadership journeys, and the role of youth in driving future reforms.

Participants highlighted the value of platforms that encourage critical thinking and dialogue, noting that such initiatives help bridge gaps between policymakers and the younger generation. The National Youth Front said it plans to continue similar engagements to strengthen youth participation in national discourse.
